Thu, 29 May 2008

Flash memory products maker Microdia has chosen Perth-based Neltronics as its sole distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

Microdia CEO Louis Leung said Neltronics and Microdia would make a formidable team in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

"The flash memory card and USB market in Australia and New Zealand is more than AUD$200 million a year and growing. The Australian and New Zealand market expect, and receives, top quality products, with discerning consumers dictating high product standards", said Leung.

"It's almost as if Microdia flash memory cards are made specifically for the Australian and New Zealand markets, particularly in terms of their reliability and durability as they are water proof, dust proof and heat proof, with operating temperatures ranging from -40oC to +85oC, " he said.
